AMARILLO, Texas (AP) A man killed in a tornado in a Texas oilfield and two others who were injured have been identified as Oklahomans. The Texas Department of Public Safety says 53-year-old Monte Ford of Elk City died when the tornado hit his trailer Wednesday night in Hemphill County in the northeastern part of the Texas Panhandle. George Fields of Guthrie and Jim Mabry of Arnett were both injured.

DPS spokesman Dan Hawthorne says Ford was thrown from his trailer and his body was found in the trailer's debris. Hawthorne says the debris was burned and the trailer may have exploded.

Officials say Ford was an employee of Houston-based Express Energy Services while Fields and Mabry both worked for Dominion.
