OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) Republican presidential contender Rudy Giuliani makes Oklahoma City a stop on the campaign trail to the presidency. The former New York City mayor and federal prosecutor will attend a fundraiser at the Oklahoma History Center Thursday afternoon. His presidential exploratory committee office didn't have further details.
Guiliani spoke at the Ford Center in Oklahoma City in June and gave a speech at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater about a year ago.
He is considered by some polls to be the front-runner for the 2008 Republican presidential nomination.
Guiliani was a federal prosecutor in the 1980s and elected mayor of New York City in 1993. He was praised for his work after the deadly September 11th, 2001, terrorist attacks.
