One person is under arrest following an accident on Interstate-244. About 2:30 a.m. Friday police say a driver was traveling east near Harvard when he hit the center wall, crossed all eastbound lanes and crashed into a fence.

The man was found by firefighters at a nearby convenience store and was arrested for outstanding warrants.

Officers say alcohol may have played a role in the accident.
