OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Remington Park says it will honor retired quarter horse trainer Jack Brooks of Edmond with a lifetime achievement tribute at the track.
The event will be held on March 31st and will take place throughout the live racing program that night. It will conclude with a ceremony in Remington Park's winners' circle.
The 71-year-old Brooks retired in February, just days before Remington Park's quarter horse meet began. Brooks saddled eight winners of quarter horse racing's richest event, the All American Futurity, five more than any other trainer.
Brooks' horses earned nearly $40 million.
