NORMAN, Okla. (AP) Joe Dunigan hit a 3-run homer in the 1st inning to send Oklahoma on its way to a 5-0 win over Michigan State Sunday in Norman.
Oklahoma (17-6) jumped to a 4-0 lead after the 1st inning, and Cory Williamson added an inside-the-park home run in the 5th frame. The Sooners took two out of three from the Spartans and are now 17-6.
Michigan State fell to 6-8 on the season.
Oklahoma's Joseph Hughes had a career-high 9-strikeouts and scattered 8-hits over 7-innings to improve to 4-1 on the season.
