AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) Four Oklahoma State wrestlers and one from Oklahoma are advancing to Friday night’s semifinals of the NCAA wrestling championships in Auburn Hills, Michigan.

Two-time defending national champion Johny Hendricks of OSU defeated Missouri's Matt Pell at 165 Friday morning.

Also advancing for the Cowboys are 3rd-seeded Nathan Morgan at 141, 4th-seeded Coleman Scott at 133 and unseeded Brandon Mason at 174.

For Oklahoma top-seeded Sam Hazewinkel moves to the semifinals at 125.

The wins guarantee each wrestler of being named All-American.
