TAHLEQUAH, Okla. (AP) -- Two people are dead following a fiery two-car crash on US Highway 62 in front of the Cherokee Nation Casino near Tahlequah.

The names of the victims haven't been released.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the two were in a car that pulled from a private drive onto the highway and into the path of a pickup truck about 8:15 p.m. Wednesday.

Troopers say the pickup hit the car from behind and the two vehicles skidded more than 325 feet before the car burst into flames.

The driver of the pickup was treated and released for a head injury and burns.
