SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) _ Tony Bennett and Scott Sutton grew up with front-row seats watched their fathers coach in the NCAA tournament.

For Bennett, the first-year Washington State coach who wasted no time transforming his program into an elite Pac-10 team, that even included a spot alongside his dad, Dick, as an assistant for Wisconsin's Final Four run in 2000.

Bennett and Sutton -- whose father Eddie made coaching stops at Creighton, Arkansas, Kentucky and Oklahoma State -- met in the first round of the NCAA tournament today in Sacramento, California, with a combined nine NCAA appearances between their two programs.
