Four suspects were arrested overnight for car theft and stealing a cash register in Tulsa. Tulsa Police responded to a larceny call at Bill and Ruth's Restaurant near Pine and Lewis overnight. Employees at the restaurant gave police officers the car's description and tag number. That tag number matched a vehicle reported stolen earlier this week.
Just before midnight Wednesday, Tulsa Police officers stopped the vehicle in the McDonald's parking lot at Pine and Peoria.
Tulsa Police say this incident is similar to two other cash register thefts at Tulsa restaurants recently. Police are investigating to see if the same four suspects were involved in those previous incidents.
