A 25-year old man is dead after he was shot inside his vehicle early Wednesday morning. Tulsa Police say a passenger in the vehicle was also wounded as the pair tried to leave the parking lot of the Trapeze Lounge at 31st and Mingo. Police say an argument between two parties started inside the strip club just before closing time. It spilled outside and that is when officers say, it turned deadly.

Police say Jason Edwards and his 23-year-old brother, Jeremy Edwards were in their vehicle, when a person they were fighting with fired four or five shots into the vehicle.

After being shot, the Edwards drove his vehicle several hundred feet over a curb and into Brook Hollow Creek. "The victim drove down the street, he was deceased apparently when he hit the creek, but we don't know if he was deceased prior to that," says Tulsa Police Sgt. Shawn King.

Police say Jeremy Edwards who was also shot, got out of the vehicle and went for help at a nearby apartment complex. He was taken to a Tulsa hospital. There is no information on his condition.

Tulsa Police have questioned several people, they were later released. Police say the suspect vehicle is a white Chevy Tahoe with tinted windows and 20 inch custom wheels.

Tulsa Police say they do not know what led up to the fight that ended with Tulsa's 15th homicide of the year.

Anyone with information about this shooting is asked to call Crimestoppers at 596-COPS.
