TULSA, Okla. (AP) A Missouri man dies more than two weeks after being involved in a collision on a highway in Sapulpa.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 49-year-old Robert Edwards Flowers of Houston, Missouri, died Friday.

Flowers was critically injured in a February 12th accident on State Highway 97. Authorities say he lost control of his northbound vehicle, crossed over the median into southbound traffic and struck another vehicle.

Flowers was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa after the accident.
