TULSA, Okla. (AP) -- New coach Todd Graham added another player to his first recruiting class at Tulsa on Friday by signing Brandon Thomas to a letter of intent.

Thomas, who is 6’5” and weighs 270 pounds, started at tight end and defensive end for Nordonia (Ohio) High School as a senior last year. He had 53 tackles and three sacks last season as Nordonia went to the Division II state semifinals.

"Brandon has great potential. He has played tight end and defensive end in high school, but will move to offensive tackle for us," Graham said. "He's an athletic player with good size and strength, and will only continue to get bigger and stronger.

"We believe that Brandon has all the tools necessary to make the position switch and become an outstanding offensive lineman."
