Tulsa Police search for a man who broke in a woman's apartment overnight and assaulted her. It happened around 4:30 a.m. Friday at a complex near 51st and Memorial.

Police say the intruder made his way into the apartment through an unlocked window. He went into a bedroom where the 20-year-old woman and 3-year-old daughter were sleeping. Police say he threw a blanket over the woman and the two began to scuffle. The man then fled the apartment.

The woman grabbed her daughter and went to a nearby Quik Trip to call for help. The woman and the daughter were taken to a Tulsa hospital for treatment of some minor injuries.
