KREBS, Okla. (AP) -- Police in Krebs and state authorities are investigating a weekend stabbing that left a man dead and a woman injured.

Krebs police say they found Tommy Duncan dead in his home and a woman identified as Roberta Chapman of Arkansas with multiple stab wounds.

Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation spokeswoman Jessica Brown says Chapman told investigators that Duncan stabbed her several times before she was able to take the knife and stab him once in the chest.

Brown says the extent of Chapman's injuries are not known but she is expected to survive.

Brown says Chapman has not been arrested and the case will be sent to Pittsburg County prosecutors to decide whether to file charges.
