It's a special centennial gift for Oklahoma schools, courtesy of the state Chamber of Commerce. State leaders unveiled a poster Wednesday morning. It's a painting by Oklahoma artist Mike Wimmer.

The picture depicts President Theodore Roosevelt signing Oklahoma into statehood, 100 years ago. The picture was presented at one of the state's oldest schools, Emerson High School in Oklahoma City. “The picture just brought out all of the emotions and feelings we've been talking about in class. It was like it brought it to real life to us," says Emerson senior Laneka Smith.

The State Chamber of Commerce hopes the picture will challenge students to learn more about Oklahoma's rich history.
