OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) The FBI is releasing new details about the January 18th kidnapping of a 10-year-old Texhoma girl.

Agent Michael Ward says Marissa Graham was initially taken to Goodwell where the suspect had a cell phone conversation with an unknown person about media coverage of the abduction.

Authorities believe he then took the girl to Amarillo, Texas, and spent time at a home near Broadway Street while the girl remained inside his vehicle.

He then took Graham to an isolated workshop where he tied her up and put in the trunk of a car. He then took her to Clovis, New Mexico, where authorities believe she was held overnight at a local residence.

She was kept inside a closet and told investigators there was a black cat with white paws inside the home and the man called the cat "Whiskers."

Graham later escaped when the man stopped at a convenience store in Clovis by running inside the store and identifying herself.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction of the suspect.
