ENID, Okla. (AP) -- Bond is being denied for a man charged with first-degree murder in the death of his girlfriend's 2-year-old son.

Patrick Darnell Phillips is charged in the August death of Adreion Ratzlaff.

The boy died August 18th at an Oklahoma City hospital after suffering unexplained injuries at his home where his mother lived with Phillips.

An autopsy shows the boy died of blunt-force trauma to the head and also had bruises on his arms, neck and abdomen.
