ALBUQUERQUE (AP) _ A southern Illinois trucker accused of leaving a path of destruction in Albuquerque in what authorities say was a ``meth-induced rage'' has had plenty of legal problems back home.
Eric Dubach of Mount Vernon, Illinois is suspected of causing a half-million dollars in damage Sunday in Albuquerque when he drove his truck through fences and rammed parked vehicles, homes and businesses.
The sheriff there says the 28-year-old told authorities he'd snorted methamphetamine before going on the joy ride.
Dubach is jailed in New Mexico on $100,000 cash-only bond on 29 counts of criminal property damage.
In Jefferson County, Illinois, court records show that Dubach's criminal history dates to at least 1996 and includes possession of drug paraphernalia, DUI, resisting arrest and speeding.
