Temperatures that climbed into the 40s Sunday will continue rising during the early part of the week before a chance of precipitation returns to Oklahoma.

The National Weather Service said Monday will be partly to mostly sunny with highs in the mid 40s to mid 50s. Overnight lows Monday will range from the 20s in the Panhandle to around 40 in southeastern Oklahoma.

Skies will continue to be partly to mostly sunny on Tuesday, with highs in the low 50s to low 60s. Mostly cloudy skies will return Wednesday, with highs ranging from the mid 30s in northern Oklahoma to around 60 in southeastern parts of the state.

There will be a chance of precipitation, either rain or freezing drizzle, on Thursday in all parts of the state except the Panhandle, which will remain dry.
