Northwestern Oklahoma coach celebrates 400th college victory
ALVA, Okla. (AP) _ The head basketball coach at Northwestern Oklahoma celebrates his 400th collegiate victory. <br/><br/>Bob Battisti picked up the win Thursday night when his team beat John Brown 60-to-47.

ALVA, Okla. (AP) _ The head basketball coach at Northwestern Oklahoma celebrates his 400th collegiate victory.
Bob Battisti picked up the win Thursday night when his team beat John Brown 60-to-47.
Most of Battisti's wins have been at Northwestern Oklahoma. He is 365-and-258 in 21 seasons as the Rangers' head coach.
Battisti also coached at Lakewood, Minnesota, Community College, where he was 35-and-31 in three seasons.
Northwestern Oklahoma has won six conference titles since Battisti became head coach in 1986.
Battisti has taken his team to the NAIA Division 1 National Tournament four times and finished Number Two in the nation in the 1993-1994 season.
