MANGUM, Okla. (AP) -- A convicted killer who spent more than a decade on the run with the wife of a former deputy prison warden was sentenced today to seven years in prison for escape.

Randolph Dial was sentenced in Greer County District Court in Mangum after pleading no contest to the escape charge in December.

He's already serving life in prison for the 1981 murder of a karate instructor in Broken Arrow.

Dial disappeared from the Oklahoma State Reformatory in Granite in 1994 with Bobbi Parker -- the wife of then-deputy warden Randy Parker.

The two were found in Campti, Texas, in April 2005.

Dial has said he kidnapped Parker and forced her to stay with him during their years on the run but no charges have been filed against either Dial or Parker.
