The son of Stillwaterâ€™s police chief has been arrested and charged with first degree burglary.

Authorities say 28-year-old Daniel McNickle was arrested outside his Stillwater home then released after posting $7,500 bond. Police Chief Norman McNickle says he and his wife are disappointed in their son's actions.

Daniel McNickle could be sentenced to 20 years in prison if convicted.
