An Oklahoma state Senator is putting his money where his mouth is.

Senator Mike Mazzei and his wife Noel donated 20-percent of Mike's state senator income Wednesday to the Broken Arrow School district.

"Education, helping our teachers get more resources in our classrooms, hasn't been a priority in Oklahoma. So, dedicating 20-percent of my state senate pay to a local school foundation or the schools that I represent, seems to be a good way to make a statement that it's time to start doing things differently."

Bixby and Union Public Schools have received similar donations from the Mazzei's in the past.
