NORMAN, Okla. (AP) -- Former Mexican President Vicente Fox will be recognized as a distinguished lecturer at the University of Oklahoma next month.

OU officials say Fox will honored during an academic convocation February 26th and will join OU President David Boren for a reception and dinner that evening.

Fox was president of Mexico from 2000 to 2006.
