NORMAN, Okla. (AP) -- The eighth-ranked Oklahoma women's gymnastics team heads to Texas Woman's University on Saturday for a match with TWU, George Washington and Centenary.
The Sooners are coming off a win in their home opener in which they defeated Number 22 Missouri and Central Michigan.
OU outscored the Tigers and Chippewas on the strength of senior Brittney Koncak-Shumann's performance. Koncak-Schumann took the all-around, uneven bars and beam titles, scoring a career-high 9-point-95 on beam en route to her second consecutive Big 12 Gymnast of the Week honor.
TWU fell on the road to Number 25 Brigham Young and finished second in a triangular with Central Michigan and Brown. George Washington finished second at the G-W/Lindsey Ferris Invitational January 21st.
