PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Kyle Korver scored 25 points, Andre Iguodala added 20 and the Philadelphia 76ers held on for a 102-96 victory over the New Orleans Hornets Tuesday night.
Devin Brown led the Hornets with 24 points and David West added 23 in his third game back after missing 30 following shoulder surgery.
Hurt by poor shooting and ballhandling, New Orleans fell behind by 19 at one point in the 1st-half and committed 11 turnovers.
But the Hornets managed to close within 8-points in the 3rd-quarter only to fall behind 20 points midway through the 4th. New Orleans rallied with an 18-4 run, closing to 96-90 before West hit a 3-pointer with just over 7-seconds to narrow the deficit to 4.
The surge, however, fell short and the Sixers put the game away.
New Orleans slips to 1-10 in its last 11 road games while the Sixers improves to 4-13 against Western Conference teams.
