The University of Tulsa men’s basketball team faces a tough challenge Wednesday night. The Golden Hurricane (12-5, 2-2) will face off against 11th ranked Memphis (15-3, 5-0).
The Tigers are riding a seven game winning streak going into the match-up. TU is looking to snap a two game skid; their latest loss to Houston was a close one, 69-67.
Wednesday’s game is the 23rd in the series between these Conference USA foes. Tulsa holds the edge in the series 12-10, but Memphis has won the last ten of eleven games. The last time TU beat the Tigers was in the 2001 NIT semifinals.
Tip-off in FedEx Forum in Memphis is at 8 p.m. Wednesday.
