BOLEY, Okla. (AP) _ Oklahoma may soon have one less high school.
Members of the Boley school board in Okfuskee County are expected to ask voters in the district to close the high school because there are no students.
Boley Superintendent Gretana Gonzalez-Hall says about 14 students enrolled at the high school last August but none returned for the current semester. She says most transferred to Paden, Okemah and Prague.
If the high school is closed the district would convert to an elementary school district for students in kindergarten through eighth grade. The school currently has 38 students in those grades.
