A man died after an accident on U.S. Highway 75 near 106th North.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol Troopers say the man, driving a Chrysler minivan, was southbound on an ice-covered U.S. highway 75 when he lost control of the van. The vehicle went off the road and into a creek, said troopers. The van filled with water, and the Sperry Fire Department had to remove the man from the vehicle.

The man, who has not been identified, was transported to a Tulsa hospital where he was pronounced dead.
