Missing Purcell Area Boy Found Unharmed

PURCELL, Okla. (AP) -- An 11-year-old Wayne boy who reportedly ran away from home is back with his family.<br/><br/>McClain County sheriff's officials say Timothy Goines ran away about 10:30 PM Thursday.

PURCELL, Okla. (AP) -- An 11-year-old Wayne boy who reportedly ran away from home is back with his family.

McClain County sheriff's officials say Timothy Goines ran away about 10:30 PM Thursday. Officials say he was found Saturday apparently unharmed.

Details surrounding the boy's recovery weren't immediately available. He was being examined by a physician to determine if he had suffered any health effects.

A Purcell police officer spotted the boy walking along Interstate 35 early Friday morning, but the boy ran away from the officer.

McClain County Sheriff Don Hewett said his office wasn't aware of the missing boy until about 9 AM Friday, when his mother reported him gone.
