MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) West Virginia tight ends coach and recruiting coordinator Herb Hand has accepted the job as offensive coordinator at Tulsa.
Hand's wife Debbbie confirmed the hiring Saturday.
Hand becomes the third member of coach Rich Rodriguez's staff to leave in the past week.
Herb Hand was headed to his office and didn't immediately return a telephone message. Tulsa spokesman Don Tomkalski says he can't confirm the hiring.
Hand joins the staff of Todd Graham, who took over at Tulsa Friday. Graham spent two seasons at West Virginia as linebackers coach in 2001 and co-defensive coordinator in 2002.
