INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION (AP) Astronauts have completed a 7½ hour spacewalk outside the international space station.
They used the last two hours of the marathon walk to work on a solar panel that has frustrated NASA since Wednesday.
The panel won't fold completely, but the astronauts managed to get it to retract 65 percent by shaking loose a few stuck grommets.
NASA is mulling over whether to go ahead with a fourth, additional spacewalk to work on the panel. Only three were scheduled for this particular mission.
If fourth walk happens on Monday, it would delay the space shuttle Discovery's landing at Kennedy Space Center by a day. It would also push back other activities on the shuttle.
