FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) Sonny Weems went scoreless in Arkansas' 71-61 win over Missouri-Kansas City last weekend, and coach Stan Heath says the junior college transfer's struggles were surprising.
Weems played just 14 minutes in the UMKC game. But Heath says Weems should rebound after the rough game.
The Razorbacks, who are 6-1, face Central Michigan Tuesday night in Fayetteville. Heath says not to overlook Central Michigan, which beat Missouri-Kansas City 85-68 on November 19th.
Heath says a big priority for the Razorbacks is cutting its number of turnovers. Most of the turnovers are coming from charges and rebounds, and Heath says he expects the Razorbacks to get better.
