Tulsa's long time city attorney is retiring.

Mayor Kathy Taylor has accepted Alan Jackare's resignation. Jackere and his chief deputy were recently suspended for unspecified reasons.

Some suspect it's connected to the Arvin McGee wrongful conviction case.

At trial - the city of Tulsa called no witnesses and was accused of offering a poor defense. In the end, the city of Tulsa paid McGee $12-million, about $11-million more than expected.
