LUTHER, Okla. (AP) -- The Federal Aviation Administration says there are no injuries after a twin-engine plane made an emergency landing Thursday morning in a field near Luther in northeastern Oklahoma County.
The landing was initially reported as a crash landing but FAA spokesman Roland Herwig says the plane landed in the field after the pilot reported one of the engines failing.
Herwig says there were two people on board and the plane was heading for Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma City.
The names of the two were not immediately released.
The FAA will investigate the incident.
