Two Tulsa Police officers are recovering after an overnight scuffle.

It happened when officers responded to a hit and run accident near 5400 North Elgin. When they got there, three people were fighting.

The officers tried to break it up, and two of them were cut. One on the hand, the other on the leg.

The two officers were taken by other Tulsa Police Department units to the hospital for treatment.

The suspect is in the Tulsa County jail.
