WACO, Texas (AP) Bernice Mosby scored 21 points and grabbed 17 rebounds as 15th-ranked Baylor beat Number Nine L-S-U, 64-60, in nonconference women's basketball.

The Lady Bears outrebounded the Lady Tigers, 53-31, as they dealt LSU its first loss and improved to 4-1.

Baylor opened the second half with a 9-2 run to erase a 28-26 halftime deficit.

Erica White scored 20 points for the 5-1 Lady Tigers, who went 2-17 from three-point range. LSU center Sylvia Fowles played just 17 minutes because of foul trouble and finished with 14 points.
