President Bush bestowed a great honor upon a Tulsa company Tuesday.
Mesa Products at 4445 South 74th East Avenue manufactures pipeline protection products. The company learned Tuesday it had received the 2006 Malcom Baldridge Award. The award is considered the most prestigious honor in the business world.
Mesa president Terry May: "I just can't tell you how excited we are. Last week, we received the Oklahoma Quality Award, today we got the Baldridge Award and we've got a great group of people here, who work very hard."
Mesa is the third Tulsa organization to be honored in the last two years. Bama Corporation and Jenks Public Schools have also received the award.
