TULSA, Okla. (AP) Brett McDade nails a desperation 30 footer as the shot clock expires with 1:42 left, then makes 5 of 6 free throws in the final 37 seconds as Tulsa weathers a strong 2nd half rally for a 66-60 victory over Arkansas-Little Rock.
Arkansas-Little Rock trailed 36-13 at halftime Saturday night, but outscored Tulsa 17-7 to open the 2nd half.
UALR continued to inch closer behind the strong inside play of Lekheythan Malone and Bryon Ray, who led the Trojans with 16 points each.
UALR closed within 58-54 and seemed about to force a Tulsa turnover when McDade let fly with his dagger that again gave the Golden Hurricane breathing room at 61-54.
McDade and Ramsdell led Tulsa with 11 points each.
