An Edmond man comes to Tulsa for a party and ends up shot in the chest. Police are looking for the shooter, but, need new information in order to make an arrest.
News on 6 crime reporter Lori Fullbright has details.
The party was near 52nd and Riverside Drive on October 28th. Just after midnight, it had gotten out of control and was in the processed of being dispersed.
"A neighbor came out, there was a fight in one of the yards and the neighbor fired off a couple of warning rounds, into the air," Tulsa Police Officer Scott Walton said.
In response, one of the party goers went to his red, two-door, late 80's or early 90's car and opened the trunk.
"This man retrieved a weapon and walked into the crowd, firing rounds," said Walton.
One of those bullets hit Cameron Lewis in the chest, he survived, but, police sure want to know who the shooter is, since it appears he didn't care who got hit.
If you have any information about this case, you can call Crimestoppers at 596-COPS. You don't have to give your name and if your tip leads to an arrest, the Citizens Crime Commission will pay you a cash reward.
