Oklahoma's Centennial celebration is getting off to a roaring start this week. It lit up the night skies over Jenks Thursday night where thousands of people showed up.
Sky News 6 took off to capture the fireworks show from the sky. This presentation included a recorded message from Governor Brad Henry who announced next year; November 16th will be a one-time official state holiday.
This is part of Oklahoma's year-long celebration of its 100th birthday. This was the first of three nights of fireworks shows.
Friday’s show at Tulsa’s 21st Street bridge starting at 6:30 PM.
