NORMAN, Okla. (AP) Oklahoma coach Jeff Capel adds a fourth recruit to his first class of signees with the Sooners.

Chris Early, a 6'6" guard from Huntington, West Virginia, High School, was the latest to sign a letter of intent with OU. He averaged 12.5 points and five rebounds per game last season for Huntington, which has won back-to-back state titles.

Capel says he met Early while he was still coaching at Virginia Commonwealth. He calls Early a good athlete with a great body who has his best basketball ahead of him.

Capel signed 6'9" forward Blake Griffin from Oklahoma Christian School in Edmond, 6'5" guard Cade Davis from Elk City High School and 6'5" guard Tony Neysmith from Norcross, Georgia, High School on the first day of the early signing period Wednesday.

Capel calls Griffin the best player in the class and says he had targeted Griffin from the time he was hired in April to coach the Sooners.
