Tulsa Police Investigate Several Overnight Traffic Accidents

A series of accidents keep Tulsa emergency crews busy for hours overnight. <br/><br/>Two people were hospitalized following a two vehicle accident on US Highway 169 at 11th Street at around 11:30 PM Wednesday.

A series of accidents keep Tulsa emergency crews busy for hours overnight.

Two people were hospitalized following a two vehicle accident on US Highway 169 at 11th Street at around 11:30 PM Wednesday.

The driver of a van was headed south when he was hit from behind by a speeding truck. As they pulled to the side, the pick-up driver backed into the front of the van. Officers are checking to see if alcohol was involved.

Around midnight a woman was hospitalized when she turned in front of a pick-up truck at 81st and Sheridan. Two people in the truck refused treatment. The woman will be okay.

Moments later, Tulsa Police say the driver of a Mercedes was speeding when she clipped another vehicle on 71st street near Peoria. She was taken to the hospital for treatment. The other driver was not hurt.
