OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- While most eyes will be on the governor's race and the contest for control of the state House and Senate, the most interesting statewide races could be for lieutenant governor, labor commissioner and auditor and inspector.

Republican Lieutenant Governor Mary Fallin faces Edmond Doctor David Hunter for Fifth Congressional District representative, a job Istook held.

In the other races, Republican House Speaker Todd Hiett is seeking to replace Fallin as lieutenant governor, but he'll have to get past Democratic House Leader Jari Askins.

Incumbent Democrat Jeff McMahan is up against Republican Gary Jones for auditor and inspector and incumbent Republican Brenda Reneau is dueling Democrat Lloyd Fields for labor commissioner.

Democratic Attorney General Drew Edmondson will meet Oklahoma County attorney James Dunn, a Republican. State School Superintendent Sandy Garrett -- a Democrat -- faces challenger Bill Crozier, a Republican.

Democratic State Treasurer Scott Meacham faces Republican Howard Barnett, while Democrat Kim Holland is hoping for a full term as Insurance Commissioner in her race against Midwest City Republican Bill Case.

Veteran Corporation Commissioner Bob Anthony, a Republican, is opposed by Democrat Cody Graves.
