Hundreds of students returned to class after their Rogers County school was evacuated Wednesday morning. It happened at Foyil Public Schools.

School officials say one of the receptionists received a call right before 8 AM from someone who said they were going to blow up the school. Officials immediately began evacuation procedures and moved more than 700-students to a safe zone at a Foyil church.

The Foyil Fire Department and Rogers County Sheriff's deputies swept the school but found nothing. A third grader says she wasn't scared because her teacher got the kids “out in a snap.” Alexis Short: "the principal called and said 'get all the children on the bus and go to ‘Foyil Baptist' and then we did and then we watched a movie and some stuff and some kids went home.”

Students were at Foyil Baptist for about two hours and then were moved back to the school. Even though officials say it was safe for them to stay, some parents chose to take their kids out of classes for the day.
