A Tulsa mother who confessed to murdering her 6 year old son is found not guilty by reason of insanity.

Sheilla Shea will be sent to the state mental health facility in Vinita. Her family says she's paranoid schizophrenic.

Shea underwent two psychiatric evaluations. Both concluded she was mentally ill when she stabbed her son to death in July 2005.

The tragedy could have been worse. A Tulsa Police report states Shea told officers she was also going to kill her other children and herself.
