Got your pumpkins for Halloween yet? Looking for something a bit unusual?

News on 6 reporter Rick Wells may have found it.

Just west of Sand Springs, at the end of three miles of winding road, he says is perhaps the perfect place to pick a pumpkin.

Randy Owens with Pleasant Valley Farms: "I have all colors, shapes and sizes." When someone says pumpkin, this is most often the picture that comes to mind, but look at all this. "There are 750 varieties of winter squash and pumpkins."

Randy Owens says he has more than 60 of them. So some 4th graders from Shelly Martin's class at Pratt Elementary School were having a tough time finding just the right one, so many choices. Some went for the big ones and some selected the unusual.

Pumpkin picking makes you hungry, so it was time for lunch for the kids. Some headed for the trees for a picnic. Watch out mom and dad, not even Halloween and they've picked out a Christmas tree. "That's my Christmas tree, that's mine, that's his.” Actually, the trees don't go on sale until after Thanksgiving.

The pumpkins are on sale daily from 9 until dark, through October 28th.
