A Tulsa convenience store owner is ambushed and robbed Thursday morning. Tulsa Police say the suspect broke into a Shop-N-Stop while the owner and his wife went to the bank. When they came back, he confronted the owner.

Tulsa Police Sgt. Mark Watson : “The suspect had a large rock and hit the business owner over the head with the rock and knocked him down inside one of the storage rooms in the back of the store. Tied him up with some shoes strings that were back there. And left with the cash from the business.”

The owner was taken to the hospital with a gash on his head. The suspect is described as an American Indian man in his mid 40s, with long black hair.

At the time he was wearing a blue bandana around his face and wearing a multi colored jacket with black pants.
