AEP-PSO customers across northeastern Oklahoma may see a jump in the price of energy.
AEP-Public Service Company of Oklahoma plans to ask state regulators to approve a rate increase within the next 45 days.
An AEP-PSO spokesman says the money is needed to cover rising business costs. And to help pay for more than a billion dollars the company plans to spend to build new power generating capacity.
No word on how much the increase could be.
