It was the center of New Orleans's suffering. Monday night, it was the site of celebration.
The New Orleans Saints played their first football game in the Superdome since Hurricane Katrina and it provided some much needed enjoyment for people in New Orleans and for the people who used to live there.
James Joseph relocated to Tulsa from New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. Monday night, he invited some friends over to watch the game.
He says looking at the game; it looks like the people are alive again. He admits to some mixed feelings. “The Saints game is going on which is a really good thing. But people's homes are still destroyed and people's homes are still demolished."
Joseph says he also thinks ticket prices need to be lower so lower-income people can go to the games. But overall, he's glad the Saints are back.
